Chuo Nihon Tochi Tatemono Co., Ltd. will start new construction in March 2024 in connection with the Uchisaiwai-cho 1-chome District South District Type 1 Urban Redevelopment Project in Chiyoda Ward, Tokyo. Nikken Sekkei was in charge of the basic design. Shimizu Corporation, which is also responsible for the demolition of existing buildings, is in charge of the detailed design. A builder has not been decided. The new building will consist of three buildings, A to C, and the new construction will start on the A building. The total area will be 290,000 square meters. Aiming for completion in March 2015.
The construction site is Uchisaiwai-cho 1-1-5 (site area: 18,617 square meters). Facing the east side of Hibiya Park, currently the "Mizuho Bank Uchisaiwaicho Headquarters Building" is being demolished. The building is a part of SRC steel construction, 4 floors below ground, 35 floors above ground, and 1 floor of penthouse with a total of 132,939 square meters. Demolition will be completed by March 2014.
On the former site, a group of redevelopment facilities will be developed in which three buildings A to C are connected at the lower floors. Among them, Building A is constructed with SRC/S construction for part of the basement, and CFT construction for part above ground. It will have 3 floors below ground and 45 floors above ground, with a total of 287,000 square meters. The height is about 230 meters. Spread foundation will be adopted for the foundation construction method. The lower floors include commercial facilities and hotels. The upper floors will be offices.
Building B, which consists of machine rooms and offices, has four floors underground and one floor above ground. Building C is a two-story building with store functions. The total floor area of the three buildings is approximately 297,400 square meters.
Chuo Nippon Tochi Tatemono and others are promoting integrated redevelopment under the name of the "TOKYO CROSS PARK concept", including Mizuho Bank's Uchisaiwaicho headquarters building, as well as the adjacent "NTT Hibiya Building" and "Imperial Hotel Tokyo" on the north side. . The three skyscrapers and the new Imperial Hotel Tokyo will be built integrally, and a pedestrian deck will connect them to Hibiya Park. The total floor area will be about 1.1 million square meters, and the goal is to complete the construction after fiscal 2037.
