On October 12, the Tokyo Metropolitan Government approved the formation of the committee for the Iidabashi Station East District Redevelopment. This will see a 130-meter tall, 26-story office and apartment tower built next door to Iidabashi Station.

The 7,000 sqm site spans two blocks currently filled with a variety of low and mid-rise buildings, primarily offices. Redevelopment discussions first began back in 2006. Project participants include Mitsubishi Estate, Mitsubishi Jisho Residence, Daiwa House Kogyo, and Shimizu Corporation. 

Construction and rights exchange is expected to start in 2023, with competition tentatively scheduled for 2026. The lower floors will contain rental office space with a floor plate of over 1,400 sqm, while the upper floors will contain high-grade apartments.
