Construction of residential and commercial buildings south of Shin-Kamagaya Station (Kamagaya City, Chiba Prefecture) is progressing smoothly with the participation of four parties: Keisei Electric Railway, Tobu Railway, Daiwa Home Industry, and Toho Jisho. Keisei Electric Railway has revealed the builder and the structure of the main construction work has not yet been decided. The residential building is being constructed by Haseko Corporation and the commercial building is being constructed by Keisei Corporation. Regarding the structure, the residential building will be made of RC structure and the commercial building will be partly made of RC structure. The construction period for both is scheduled for the end of January 2027.

Construction contracts are expected to be signed in July for the residential building and in June for the commercial building. Groundbreaking work began on the site in October.
The construction name of the residential building is ``(tentative name) Kamagaya City Shin-Kamagaya 1-chome New Construction Project''. The four sides will be the main actors. The planned location is Shinkamagaya 1-12-4, Kamagaya City (land area: 4,933 square meters). The building is a 15-story reinforced concrete building with a total area of 19,184 square meters. There are 191 units. It was designed by Haseko Corporation. The construction work was carried out by the company and Keisei Construction.
The construction name of the commercial building is "(tentative name) Shin-Kamagaya Station Project (Commercial Building)." The main company is Keisei Electric Railway. The planned locations are Shinkamagaya 1, 12-1 and other locations. The new construction site area is 2,150 square meters, and the total development area, including the station building, is 9,019 square meters. The scale of the project is 6 floors above ground and 1 basement, partly built with S-shaped reinforced concrete. The total floor area of the new commercial building and parking lot will be 11,759 square meters. Keisei Construction is responsible for the design and construction.
The land south of the station is owned by the prefecture. The land will be sold on the condition that a complex facility with commercial and entertainment functions will be developed in the central area of Kamagaya City. Keisei Electric Railway, Tobu Railway, Daiwa House Industry and Touhou Jisho JV were selected as potential project partners in March 2016. According to the proposal of the JV, the commercial building will have restaurants and shops selling goods on the ground and underground parking. There will be free passageways on the north and south, east and west, and plazas on the south and west.
