PROJECTED OUTPUT CONTROL OF 1,510 KW/TEPCO PG IN FY 2016 IF IMPLEMENTED

PROJECTED OUTPUT CONTROL OF 1,510 KW/TEPCO PG IN FY 2016 IF IMPLEMENTED

TEPCO Power Grid (PG) has compiled an outlook for 2024 related to controlling solar power generation output. Targeted at non-agricultural power sources, it will control up to 1,510 kilowatts on the 154,000V Joetsu Main Line and the 66,000V Tamamoro Line. This will be done using a unified control method that reduces output at a fixed rate compared to the generation plan. In the future, we will also require submission of the value of planned electricity output for each power plant. If output control is implemented, this will be the first such case to occur in TEPCO's PG area.
