Yasui Architectural Design Office / Exhibition in Tokyo from October 15 to November 2, 100th anniversary project

As part of its 100th anniversary project, Yasui Architecture and Design Office will hold the “Machinaka Exhibition” from November 15 to 2 in Tokyo. Tours of the company's Tokyo office in Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo and its designed buildings, as well as seminars, will be held. On the 2nd, there will be a talk titled "How do we open up the town?"

This is an effort to provide first-hand experience of the architectural details and design process, using a building in a "town" designed by the firm as a location. Targets include the firm's Tokyo office (Midoshiro Creative Special Area), Tokyo International Cruise Terminal, Suntory Hall, Nihon University College of Art, Ekoda Campus Art Gallery, and Mirai Step Nakano + Nakano Higashi Junior High School. Schedule varies by facility.

The panel discussion/talk will feature President Yoshihiko Sano, Tsukasa Nishida (OnDesign Representative, Associate Professor at Tokyo University of Science) and Hitoshi Tanaka (Representative Director and CEO of JINS Holdings). Opinions will be exchanged on future urban development, transcending industry boundaries. The venue is inside the Tokyo office. Time is from 9:30 to 11:00. Capacity is 80 people and pre-registration is required. Participation is free.

For details, visit the company's 100th anniversary website (https://www.yasui-archi.co.jp/100th/). An exhibition was held at the Osaka location in September.
