According to the VNA special envoy, in the program of the expanded G7 Summit in Hiroshima, Japan, on the morning of May 21, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and the heads of the delegations of the invited countries, the delegates Heads of international organizations visited the port of Itsukaichi and the ship Suiso Frontier - the world's first liquid hydrogen transport vessel.
On board the Suiso Frontier, hydrogen is liquefied at extremely low temperatures (minus 253 degrees Celsius), the volume is reduced to 1/1800.
This is a step forward in efforts to shape the hydrogen market on a global scale. To form this market, a technology is needed that allows large volumes of hydrogen to be transported from hydrogen producing countries to countries with high energy needs.
At the recent G7 Energy Ministerial meeting, hydrogen was high on the agenda and ministers agreed to the Hydrogen Association's proposal to accelerate the transition.
In 2017, Japan launched a basic hydrogen strategy and led the world in the field of hydrogen.
