Fuji Keizai has compiled survey results on the global market for heat pump equipment. The global market for commercial heat pump water heaters in 2040 is predicted to be 1,851.3 billion yen, 17.6 times more than in 2022. Revenue from residential buildings is expected to increase twofold from 2022 to 566.7 billion yen. It is analyzed that the demand for heat pump equipment will increase following the decarbonization trend. It is predicted that China and Europe, with strong policy support, will lead the market expansion.
