TEPCO HD, TEPCO SEKKEI, GUNMA BANK'S ZEB DESIGN CONTRACT/FIRST OUTSIDE THE GROUP

Tokyo Electric Power Company Holdings (HD) and TEPCO Sekkei (Koto-ku, Tokyo, President: Yasuhiro Kubo) announced on the 29th that they have signed a contract to design the Gunma Sakai Bank Branch (Isesaki City, Gunma Prefecture) to convert it into a ZEB (Zero Energy Building) did. In addition to installing energy-saving equipment at the new branch, the company will also install a solar power generation system of over 50 kilowatts, reducing the overall energy balance to zero. This is the first time we was tasked with designing the ZEB from outside the TEPCO Group. Construction will begin in April and completion of the new store is expected in March 2025.
