The Resol Group is promoting a solar carport (parking type solar power generation) business that installs solar power generation equipment in golf course parking lots. As the second facility, it went into operation at "Chukyo Golf Club Ishino Course" in Toyota City, Aichi Prefecture on February 27, and at "Setouchi Golf Resort" in Takehara City, Hiroshima Prefecture on February 28.
Resol Land Development (Ishikawa Town, Fukushima Prefecture), which is engaged in the renewable energy business of the Resol Group, will play a central role in installing a solar carport in the parking lot of the golf course, and the generated electricity will be consumed by the clubhouse facility within the golf course. As the first step, it went into operation in January at "Spa & Golf Resort Kuji" in Hitachiota City, Ibaraki Prefecture.
The carport was jointly developed by Resol Land Development and Kakefu Housing (Kani City, Gifu Prefecture), and adopted a rear pillar type that is easy to park and considers customer safety. The solar panels were made by China's Trina Solar, and ORIX Facilities (Minato-ku, Tokyo) was in charge of construction. In the future, we will consider installing an EV charger and using it as an emergency power source in the event of a disaster.
The Chukyo Golf Club Ishino Course has 76 parking spaces with a solar panel output of 205 kW and a power conditioner (PCS) output of 200 kW. Annual power generation is expected to be 226,970 kWh, equivalent to about 52 households. About 18 to 19% of the electricity used can be covered, and 131 tons of CO2 can be reduced annually, equivalent to about 9,100 cedar trees. In addition, an EV charger is installed in the clubhouse and can be used by customers to charge their EVs.
The Setouchi Golf Resort has 56 parking spaces with a panel output of 151 kW and a PCS output of 150 kW. Annual power generation is expected to be 174,249 kWh, equivalent to about 40 households. About 18 to 19% of the electricity used can be covered, and 100 tons of CO2 can be reduced annually, equivalent to about 7,000 cedar trees.
