The Construction Industry Promotion Foundation (President Akira Taniwaki), which operates the Construction Career Development System (CCUS), will release a smartphone application called "Ken Career" for CCUS registered technicians on the 29th. It can be used on both iPhone and Android smartphones and is free to download. We encourage technicians to use this tool as a tool that allows them to experience benefits such as being able to check their employment history and qualifications instantly, as well as displaying details of their professional certificates on the screen.

The promotion fund introduces this as “Japan’s first multi-industry smartphone application” that is not available in other industries, and will develop it as a general application for technicians working in the construction industry. You can check your work history without logging into CCUS on your computer, and you can easily understand detailed work history by month and day. There is also a function to support ability evaluation. Currently, this function is limited to displaying a list of promotion conditions, but we will consider displaying individual conditions according to user needs.

Another advantage is that all information registered as authentication information can be displayed, even offline. Relevant ministries and agencies are also discussing and coordinating the possibility of replacing the carrying of the qualification certificate as prescribed by the Industrial Safety and Health Act with a display through an application, which is expected to further enhance the value of use. It is also possible to check the accumulated status of the construction industry pension mutual support fee (both construction and retirement) and the approximate pension amount.
Information will also be disseminated, such as special welfare services provided by private enterprises called "CCUS Cheerleaders" for CCUS registered technicians and enterprises. We plan to use the notification function to send information three times a week, and influencers, experts, and executives from leading companies will write content such as columns that are useful for work. We will expand mechanisms to encourage people to use the app every day.
