NissuiCon / Expanding scholarship repayment support system for young employees, providing 120,000 yen per year for up to 3 years

President Mayama
NissuiCon is expanding its system to support scholarship repayments for young employees. This is part of measures to secure young human resources and prevent the outflow of human resources. Employees who are obligated to repay scholarships will be paid 120,000 yen per year for up to three years, and will be used to repay the scholarships. About 30 employees have used it so far. Kazunori Mayama, president of the company, said, "We live in an era in which we can't secure workers just by saying, 'We need workers.'
The scholarship repayment support system was launched by the company in December 2009 as a system that is easier for employees to use because the utilization rate of the existing scholarship loan system is low. The system can be used by new graduates who have been with the company for less than three years and mid-career hires who have graduated from university within three years. Employees who have graduated from or completed colleges of technology, vocational schools, junior colleges, four-year universities, and graduate schools and are obligated to repay scholarships are eligible.
As a monthly equivalent of 10,000 yen, 60,000 yen will be paid twice a year, with a maximum of 120,000 yen per year. When using the system, employees report the balance of scholarship repayments each time.
As an existing system related to scholarship repayment support, the company has a system that lends scholarships to university students who are planning to join the company while they are still in school. However, due to the corona crisis, it became difficult to communicate with students before joining the company, and the usage rate was declining, so a new scholarship repayment support system was established.
President Mayama said, "There are quite a few students who are struggling because part-time jobs at restaurants have decreased due to the corona crisis. Some students may have managed to graduate using scholarships." Infer. He said, ``We perceive that there is a certain level of demand for about 30 users.''
