Mitsui Fudosan and Fukuoka Estate (Hakata Ward, Fukuoka City, President Ichiro Enomoto) announced on the 16th that they will rebuild the "Marinoa City Fukuoka" shopping center in Nishi Ward, Fukuoka City. The building has a total area of 81,000 square meters. 24 years have passed since it opened in 2000. The current facility is scheduled to close on August 18. From then on, both companies will jointly move forward with the reconstruction plan. Details about the new facility will be announced in the future.

The facility's location is Kodo 2-12-30. It is located on the riverbank at the mouth of the Nagara River and its symbol is the 60 meter high Ferris wheel. It was developed by FJ Urban Development (now Fukuoka Jisho) and became Kyushu's first official shopping mall.
Fukuoka Jisho, which has extensive development experience in Kyushu, and Mitsui Fu, which owns commercial facility brands such as "Mitsui Shopping Park LaLaport" and "Mitsui Outlet Park", are collaborating. The aim is to build new commercial facilities that respond to changes in consumer needs and trends.
