TOHOKU ELECTRIC POWER FEDERATION ELECTED MR. SAE AS NEW PRESIDENT AT ITS REGULAR MEETING/SHOWING DETERMINATION FOR DEVELOPMENT

    The Tohoku Electric Power Industry Union (Tohoku Electric Power Federation, chaired by Masanobu Taguchi) held its 43rd regular congress on the 28th at a hotel in Sendai. In the re-election of officers, Chairman Taguchi resigned and Sausai, Secretary General of Motobu, was elected as the new chairman. This is the first time in 6 years there has been a change of president. The new president, Saame, emphasized that the organization will develop its activities while attaching importance to the three aspects of “support, sharing and leadership”. He expressed enthusiasm: “I will pour my heart and soul into the development of Tohoku Electric Power Soren.”
