The office was established to take over the Honmeigawa Dam construction project, which was under the jurisdiction of the Nagasaki River and Highway Office. They moved into the Nagasaki River and Expressway Office building and started a new structure with 27 people in four departments: general, engineering, construction and survey design. The dam is currently in the bidding process for construction and a successful bid is expected this summer. Strive for completion in 2032. Total project cost is about 73 billion yen.
