Jack-up completes inaugural operation off the coast of South Korea
Jack-up Hyundai Frontier has completed its inaugural wind turbine installation near Jeju Island, South Korea.
The offshore support vessel owned by Hyundai Engineering & Steel Industries’ was delivered in June this year and is said to be the first of its kind operating in the country.
The owners have stated that the vessel can install 300MW of turbines per year.
