    He requested that countries that have not yet officially announced their participation should "move forward." For countries that have announced their participation, he said, "The pavilion construction site will be handed over in six months. The venue of the Expo is a place where diverse participating countries and people will come together. From now on, participating countries will design what they want to share and think about in the world. , prepare, and provide visitors with a wonderful experience."


    Furthermore, he said, "Future life will require health and harmony with nature. There are solutions to various problems around the world. Let's collect ideas and present the future society at the Expo."


    Mr. Koji Haneda, representative of the Japanese government at the Expo, said, "We must look ahead to the post-coronavirus world and envision a future society that is resilient and sustainable.
