JPEA includes approximately 20 solar cell (power generation) and solar panel manufacturers, approximately 40 power and energy companies, and approximately 45 sales and installation companies. The comprehensive cooperation agreement is expected to expand information on drainage projects, expand interactions with drainage stakeholders, develop new PPA markets and expand business opportunities.

The government's implementation plan, approved by Cabinet in 2021, sets a target of installing solar power generation equipment in around 50% or more of buildings (including sites) that can be installed. set for 2030. In addition, the ``Liaison Conference of relevant ministries and agencies on decarbonization of the public sector, etc.'' held in March 2024 set a target of 160MW for bringing Export solar energy to wastewater treatment facilities.
