The current location of Sogo Vehicle Depot is 582-1 Shimoiwabashi (area about 10.4 hectares). Previously, the existing plant had the capacity to accommodate six-car trains, thus requiring cars to be segregated during inspection. According to the spokesperson, the company is expected to "consider installing additional detention lines" as a measure to cope with the increase in shipping demand.
