Targets road paving work, mainly carried out by member companies of the Hokkaido Association, and asphalt mixture production, carried out by members of Hokkaido Association and Japan Association, lasting 4 weeks, 8 days - Vacation program for people working at construction sites and logging factories. The company aims to establish “business hours regulations” and “encourage closures on Saturdays and Sundays.” Members of both organizations will be encouraged to voluntarily submit estimates reflecting the statement to order purchasers.

The reason behind this joint statement by both organizations is that road paving and the production of asphalt mixtures used as road paving materials are interconnected. Dokenkyo has many members, mainly road companies, involved in both pavement construction and composite material production, and many companies are also members of the Japan Association.
The main purpose of deciding on this declaration is to secure and establish the workforce for future pavement construction and composite material production. We are aware that young people prioritize having days off when choosing a career. The Hokkaido Kenkyo Association is also focusing on measures to comply with the upper limit on overtime that will be applied to the construction industry from April. The aim is to further strengthen work style reform even at mixed wood factories, which are already subject to the above limits.
