Take a walk in the air from Sakuragicho Station and Canal Park Station on the Yokohama Ropeway! Impressions of riding and the scenery of Minatomirai

Japan's first urban circulation ropeway "Yokohama Air Cabin" has opened, so I bought a round-trip ticket and tried it.
The ropeway connects JR Sakuragicho Station to the canal park in front of Yokohama World Porters, and one-way tickets and round-trip tickets are sold at each station building.
The view from the sky above the canal that runs beside the favorite walking course "Kisha-michi" is more interesting than I expected, and I was able to spend valuable time, so I will deliver the impressions of the ride, the waiting time, and the highlights.
About Yokohama Air Cabin
A new ropeway platform in the square of Sakuragicho Station. Since it was stated on the site that there was an opening ceremony on the first day of opening, I arrived at around 11:30, but it was still lined up on the first day.

Tickets can be purchased at the ticket vending machine or at the manned counter in the building after lining up.

In addition to one-way tickets and round-trip tickets, set tickets with the ticket for the large Ferris wheel "Cosmo Clock 21" in Cosmo World are also available at the manned counter.

The day I used it was about 45 minutes from line up to boarding. When I entered the building, the air conditioner was working and it was cool, and despite the fact that there were some people, the air was clear and I was able to wait until I got on the ropeway in a comfortable environment.

Finally meet the gondola.

The number of people I could put on one gondola, which I was most interested in, was a wonderful response, one group for one gondola. * 1 unit up to 8 people

Ropeway (from Sakuragicho Station to Unga Park Station)
A ropeway that I never thought I could really do for my favorite Yokohama Minatomirai. Lol
The moment when I got on the train and gradually increased in speed and took off to the outside was a historic moment for me, but I was very impressed when the visibility opened! !! !!

The time I could see from the exquisite height where I could clearly see the train roads and Kitanaka Bridge that went back and forth between hundreds and thousands with the naked eye was the best I could not experience anywhere else.

The ropeway makes you feel almost no shaking, and the air conditioner is working, so it is the best environment to concentrate on the scenery. It wasn't until I got on the train that I noticed the goodness of the design that I couldn't see much inside the gondola that passed each other.

Since it is a circulation type, the collaboration between the gondola passing next to it and Yokohama Minatomirai and the canal was wonderful because it was on the ropeway.

The ropeway where I could spend a darker time than I expected. Therefore, about 5 minutes one way was quick.

When you arrive at Unga-Park Station, Yokohama World Porters and Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse are a few minutes' walk away. If you are visiting for sightseeing, the flow from Sakuragicho Station via the ropeway to the Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse seems to be a good course for sightseeing in the future.
Ropeway (from Canal Park Station to Sakuragicho Station)
Since it was the day of opening, I bought a round-trip ticket at the station building on the Sakuragicho station side, so I went to the ropeway again from Unga-Park station.

Unlike the station building of Sakuragicho Station, the waiting line was short, and I was able to get on in about 15 minutes after starting to line up.
The gondola from Unga-Park Station to Sakuragicho Station is especially recommended for those who want to enjoy the scenery of Yokohama Minatomirai.

When I got on from Sakuragicho station, there was a door on the Minato Mirai side of Yokohama, so it was a little hard to see and take pictures, but since the gondola circulates, the position of the door is reversed and there is a chance to see it from the side!

Therefore, it was attractive to be able to enjoy the view of Yokohama Minatomirai with better visibility.

Even if I experienced the sky walk twice in a short time, it was so interesting that I was absorbed in it, and it was good even after getting off with my friends! I was impressed! I am very satisfied that I share it repeatedly.

It's about 5 minutes one way, 1,000 yen for adults, and tax included, so it's better to think of it as an attraction where you can enjoy the scenery from a new angle rather than as a means of transportation.
Yokohama is easy to walk and is in good condition. Yokohama has a beautiful view even if you walk.
