     The Chubu Area Development Bureau often encounters failures in the construction of new pedestrian overpasses, so it will come up with a ``general estimate method'' on the basis of a trial-by-use test. estimates from participating companies to cover all direct construction costs. Due to differences between estimated and actual costs, the most recent direct construction cost estimate or lowest average estimate will be used. This is the first initiative of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism and will be tested in the ``Susono District Bridge Steel Structure Works FY 2025'' which will be announced on November 14.

    Previously, only estimates for certain types of work were approved. The complete estimating method extracts construction costs directly from the construction cost analysis of competing companies and uses the same estimated amount as the most frequent value for direct construction costs. If there is no mode value, the lowest estimate of the mean is used. Indirect construction costs will be calculated from civil construction project estimate standards... and the total amount will be the construction price.

    Outline of construction of steel superstructure for bridge in Susono area with length of 90 meters, installation of pedestrian bridge, mid-type plate girder (steel floor plate), span length of 26.9 meters and width 2.6 meters. Steel weight: 44 tons. The truck crane was erected. The bridge deck is 145 square meters wide. Construction time is about 11 months. The construction site is located in Shizuoka Prefecture (under the jurisdiction of the Gotemba National Highway Maintenance Branch).
