The knowledge gained through these advanced model projects will be used to expand nationwide. At the same meeting, Prime Minister Kishida set a target of 2031, the 100th anniversary of the establishment of the national park system, and said: “With the understanding of local communities and environmental conservation, we will realize a world-class national park system.” park'', leveraging the vitality of the private sector to enhance its appeal. He gave instructions to implement the project.
In addition, the meeting decided on an action plan to address the shortage of aviation fuel. In order to create high-value-added domestic tourism destinations in rural areas, we are accelerating the study of adding 3 more locations in addition to the 11 locations in the model area. In order to ensure secondary transportation for domestic tourists, it was confirmed that the Traffic Gap Resolution Headquarters of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism will act as a control tower in coordination with local governments to eliminate traffic gaps and ensure convenience.
