Partners agree to work together to explore renewables opportunities

Chinese OEM Windey has signed a MoU with Japanese trading giant Marubeni Corporation, with the two agreeing to cooperate more closely in renewables developments.
The agreement follows the manufacturer’s chairman Gao Ling (pictured) leading a delegation to Japan, where they visited Marubeni power division executive officer and chief operating officer of Satoru Harada (above right) and other leaders.
Both leaders presented their company’s development achievements and future strategies, recognising their past cooperation in Saudi Arabia, with Harada pointing out the experiences and corporate cultures between two companies are similar and could complement each other with their development strengths.
Gao Ling said Windey looks forward to exploring new ways of cooperation with Marubeni Corporation and making it to a higher level and a wider range.
During the seminar attended by representatives from Windey and Marubeni the two signed an MOU agreeing to cooperate closely in the field of renewable energy in the future.
The two teams also conducted practical exchanges on green hydrogen, energy storage and offshore wind power, and the team leaders carried out a series of discussions on technology, project development, joint development and localization strategy, which laid a solid foundation for future cooperation, said Windey.
