Weishi Energy Supports Baoding in Deploying Over 1,000 Hydrogen-Powered Vehicles
On September 25, 2025, in Baoding City, Hebei Province, China, Weishi Energy delivered 500 hydrogen fuel cell vehicles, bringing the total number of hydrogen-powered vehicles in the region to over 1,000. This milestone marks a significant advancement in establishing a zero-emission logistics system in North China.
Project Highlights:
-
Cold Chain Food Distribution: 200 hydrogen-powered light trucks, including refrigerated and insulated models, were handed over to Baoding Agricultural Development Group. These vehicles, equipped with Weishi Energy's hydrogen fuel cell systems, are dedicated to transporting food to schools across the region.
-
Coal Transportation: 300 hydrogen-powered heavy trucks, also fitted with Weishi Energy's fuel cell systems, commenced operations to serve the coal transportation industry, a key sector in the area.
These vehicles not only contribute to reducing CO₂ emissions but also enhance operational efficiency with quick refueling capabilities and robust performance.
Significance of the Initiative:
The deployment of over 1,000 hydrogen-powered vehicles in Baoding demonstrates China's commitment to advancing zero-emission transportation and energy transition. This project not only supports the nation's emission reduction goals but also paves the way for the broader application of hydrogen technology in both civilian and industrial sectors.
