MOU Signing for the Introduction and Distribution of Next-Generation Cathode Materials in Vietnam
Ho Chi Minh City, September 16, 2025 – Battery Innovation Co., Ltd. (Japan), Nippon Solar Co., Ltd. (Japan), and Pacific Group Co., Ltd. (Vietnam) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to collaborate on introducing and promoting the distribution of cathode materials utilizing conductive polymers developed by Battery Innovation, targeting advanced battery applications.
This collaboration comes at a pivotal time, as the Government of Vietnam and other ASEAN countries are accelerating their green transition programs, promoting greenhouse gas reduction, clean energy development, and the shift to zero-emission transportation. Vietnam aims to gradually replace fossil fuel-powered vehicles with electric or clean energy vehicles by 2050, creating a significant demand for efficient and sustainable energy storage solutions.
Under the MOU, the three parties will work together to introduce the product to the Vietnamese market, with Nippon Solar and Pacific Group taking the lead in engaging partners across the energy, industrial, and transportation sectors to expand the adoption of high-performance, sustainable battery technologies.
Mr. Hiroshi Uchida, President of Battery Innovation Co., Ltd., stated:

次世代カソード材料のベトナム市場導入および流通に関する覚書締結
ホーチミン市、2025年9月16日 – バッテリーイノベーション株式会社（日本）、日本ソーラー株式会社（日本）、およびパシフィックグループ有限会社（ベトナム）は、バッテリーイノベーションが開発した導電性ポリマーを用いたカソード材料をベトナム市場に導入・流通促進するための覚書を締結しました。
この協力は、ベトナム政府およびASEAN諸国がグリーントランジションを加速させ、温室効果ガス排出削減、クリーンエネルギー産業育成、ゼロエミッション交通への転換を推進している重要なタイミングで行われました。ベトナムは2050年までに化石燃料車を電動車やクリーンエネルギー車に段階的に置き換えることを目指しており、高効率かつ持続可能なエネルギー貯蔵ソリューションの需要が急増しています。
覚書に基づき、3社は共同で製品をベトナム市場に紹介し、日本ソーラーとパシフィックグループがエネルギー、産業、輸送分野のパートナーとの連携を主導し、高性能で持続可能なバッテリー技術の採用拡大を図ります。
