The power plant started operation on October 21, 2022 with a solar panel output of 162 kW and a grid output of 100 kW. The generated electricity will be sold based on the feed-in tariff (FIT) system. The purchase price is 11 yen/kWh.
This initiative will install a lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 442 kWh and shift the power selling method from FIT to Feed-in-Premium (FIP). Group company RE100 Electric Power Co., Ltd. is in charge of aggregation operations such as supply and demand management. FIP transition is scheduled for October, and storage battery operation is scheduled for February 2024.
The company was also selected for the first public offering for the support project, and is proceeding with the installation of a storage battery with a capacity of 663 kWh at the "Nishiyuten Higashiyama Power Station" in Ako City, Hyogo Prefecture. The FIP transition is scheduled for July, and the operation of the storage battery is scheduled for December. This is the second project that has been adopted, and through these projects, we will promote the construction and proposal of viable renewable energy businesses.
