As a result of the disaster response following the Noto Peninsula earthquake, recognition of the usefulness of drones is spreading. After the earthquake that occurred on January 1, drone-related companies such as Blue Innovation entered the disaster area and carried out operations using drones. They play a variety of roles from the air, including surveying areas cut off by road closures, transporting supplies and checking the condition of sites where temporary housing is planned. New movements are also being seen, such as the use of drone gates that can handle everything from takeoff to flight and landing autonomously.
