AgriTree is collaborating on a solar power generation business using local farmland, and with this capital alliance, they will begin developing solar power sharing in the Tokai region and Aichi Prefecture. In the future, Toyota Boshoku will consider using AgriTree's technology and know-how as well as purchasing agricultural products produced on the farm, the electricity generated, and the environmental value.

In its Environmental Vision 2050, Toyota Boshoku Group has set a goal of achieving net zero greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions from its factories and is working to introduce renewable energy starting from fiscal 2022. In Japan, 12 out of 13 factories have achieved 100% renewable energy utilization.
In addition, Toyota Boshoku Türkiye and TB Sotec Türkiye, which are manufacturing subsidiaries in the European region, have built a 10 MW mega solar power plant (large-scale solar power plant) and held an opening ceremony on September 10. All electricity needs of both companies will be met by renewable energy, which is expected to reduce CO2 emissions by about 5,800 tons per year.
Going forward, we aim to achieve 100% implementation at domestic subsidiaries and affiliates in fiscal 2030 and 100% implementation at all plants, including overseas, in fiscal 2035.
