Toshiba Demonstrates Wireless Monitoring of Storage Battery / World's First Utilization of BLE, Commercialization in 2025

　Toshiba has successfully demonstrated wireless monitoring of storage batteries using the ultra-low power consumption wireless standard "Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE)" for the first time in the world. Communication between the units used to monitor the voltage and temperature of the storage battery is generally done by wire, but by making it wireless, maintenance efficiency and installation flexibility can be improved. It will be put into practical use in fiscal 2025, leading to the spread of storage batteries.
