    The Railway Construction and Transportation Facility Development Support Organization Hokkaido Shinkansen Construction Bureau has revealed the business outline of the Hokkaido Shinkansen Sapporo Vehicle Base. The depot is maintained with an viaduct type of about 1.3 km between Sapporo Station and Naeho Station, and a snow -proof shop is constructed on the viaduct as a snow measure. The construction is scheduled for June.'


    It was revealed at a briefing for local residents held on the 23rd and 27th.
    The depot is composed of a "settlement settlement" that detains a vehicle from the Sapporo Station side, a "work checker" that performs vehicles and performs snow melting work, and a "maintenance base" that maintains and detains maintenance vehicles. However, it will be maintained on an viaduct on the south side of the conventional line between Sapporo Station and Naeho Station. The extension of the viaduct is about 1.3 km, the height from the ground is 7.5 to 8.9 meters, and the maximum height, including the snow -proof shop, is expected to be about 22 meters. The width is expected to be 13.2 meters in front of the arrivals near the Sapporo Station, and 30.0 meters near the Sapporo Station side of the largest work inspection store.


    In the future, a construction briefing will be held and construction will be started in June. The work of the viaduct and snow -proof bodies is completed at the end of 2027, and will be completed at the end of FY2028 after facilities, inspections, and trial runs.


    This construction is the first technical proposal and negotiations (ECI for which the planned constructions will support design) methods, and Kashima, Tobishima Construction, Iwata Chizuzaki Construction, and Nakayama Gumi JV will be the preferred negotiating right holder. He was selected and signed a contract for technical cooperation in May last year.
