◆ TEPCO Energy Partner (EP), the third location in the prefecture, including customer support,
will open a fee-related office in Niigata City in October. The name is "Niigata Operation Center" and it is responsible for information registration procedures related to billing. This is the third base in Niigata Prefecture for the company. About 40 new employees will be hired, mainly from the local area, to contribute to job creation and industrial revitalization.
From the perspective of BCP (Business Continuity Plan) measures, TEPCO EP distributes its "customer center" for customer service and "operation center" for business processing throughout the country. In Niigata Prefecture, a customer center has been opened in Nagaoka City in December 2020 and Niigata City in January 2021. By opening the third base in the prefecture, it will contribute to the local employment of about 200 people together with the existing base.
