◆Peak control of power consumption by group control
Mitsubishi Electric will strengthen sales of EcoCute to housing complexes. Compared to detached houses, the rate of electrification of collective housing is low, and there is considerable room for development. The key to expanding sales is the "group control system," which is being developed for high-voltage collective power receiving condominiums. Power peaks can be suppressed by decentralizing the heating timing of each Eco Cute via the cloud. The company plans to use this system to expand sales and double the electrification rate of newly built collective housing from the current 5% (estimated by the company) by FY2030.
