◆ Targeting to start operations in 2027
Toyo Engineering Co., Ltd. announced on the 4th that it will start commercialization of ammonia cracking plants in Japan and overseas for the utilization of hydrogen. Using ammonia as a hydrogen carrier, it is expected to be used in supply chains that extract and use hydrogen. Customers are assumed to be electric power companies that generate power with hydrogen combustion gas turbines (GT) and companies that provide hydrogen for fuel cell vehicles (FCV). Acquired a license from KBR, the world's largest company in the development and design of ammonia production plants. Aiming to start commercial plant operation in 2027.
