Redevelopment of Fujimi 2-chome 3rd block (Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo), aiming to start construction in 2012/preparatory association

Planned redevelopment site
The schedule for the project planned by the Fujimi 2-chome 3rd Block Urban Redevelopment Preparation Association in Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo has been revealed. We will apply for authorization to establish this union as early as this summer. If the procedures go smoothly, the rights conversion plan will be approved in fiscal 2024 and construction will begin. The redevelopment building with a total area of 46,000 square meters is expected to be completed in 2029.
The planned site is Fujimi 2-3 near the west exit of Iidabashi Station. Approximately 0.5 hectares of land facing Waseda-dori and Daijingu-dori will be developed. There are many dilapidated wooden buildings, and there are issues in terms of disaster prevention. In October last year, the ward decided on a city plan for the redevelopment project.
In the project, the site will be divided into two districts, A and B, and one redevelopment building will be developed for each. According to the plan when the city planning was decided, A has a total of 45,000 square meters and a height of about 130 meters. Set up offices, residences, and shops. In B, a building with a total area of 1,200 square meters and a height of about 40 meters will be constructed. A square will be set up along the street to create a space for relaxation.
The preparatory union was established in June 2014. Maeda Construction is participating as a business collaborator. Sumitomo Realty & Development is scheduled to become a participating partner after the union is established.
A redevelopment preparation association will also be active in the Iidabashi Station Central District (Iidabashi 4, Fujimi 2) on the north side of the district. It is expected that the city planning procedure will be started within the fiscal year, and the association is aiming to be established in the 23rd fiscal year.
