During the festival, Pacific Group had the opportunity to network and exchange ideas with Kanagawa’s Governor Yuji Kuroiwa and representatives from multiple Japanese companies. The event provided a platform to explore investment, technology collaboration, and workforce development opportunities between Vietnamese and Japanese enterprises.

Nguyen Van Dung, Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee, highlighted the long-standing friendly relationship between Ho Chi Minh City and Kanagawa, which began in 2013 with the cooperation between Ho Chi Minh City and Yokohama, Kanagawa’s capital. He emphasized that the city’s new urban development vision, “Three Regions – One Special Zone – Three Corridors – Five Pillars,” identifies Japan, particularly advanced prefectures like Kanagawa, as key partners in fostering sustainable and creative growth.

Governor Yuji Kuroiwa introduced Kanagawa’s investment potential and opportunities, highlighting its leadership in robotics, satellite technology, and innovation. The prefecture offers attractive incentives, including support of up to 12% of project costs, a 50% reduction in property tax, and assistance with office rentals.
