NYK LINE OPENED HOKKAIDO BRANCH IN APRIL / DUE TO EXPANDING LOGISTICS NEEDS

NYK Line announced on the 23rd that it will open a Hokkaido branch in Sapporo in April. The project will meet the growing demand for shipping around Hokkaido due to the construction of offshore wind power plants, semiconductor factories and data centers. This is the company's sixth branch, following Yokohama, Nagoya, Kansai, Kyushu and Akita. It has been 15 years since the company opened a branch in Hokkaido, after closing its Sapporo branch in 2009.

It will be established on the same day based on the comprehensive cooperation agreement signed with Hokkaido. Details such as branch contact information will be announced later.
