The Japan Federation of Associations celebrated its 60th anniversary in September last year, and held commemorative ceremonies and symposiums in December of the same year. The title of the commemorative magazine is "Seeking the 'ideal form' for the 60th anniversary - Challenges of architects' offices to survive in the next generation and the role of the Japan Federation of Architects -".
In an interview, Chairman Kodama said, ``Architectural specialists are businessmen who create the future of the region. It's not about making something that looks like something, it's about making a dream come true. The goal is to provide more than what's expected."
At the round-table discussion, a variety of opinions were expressed, including the necessity of building a network among architectural firms, the need for support for the spread of BIM, and social contribution through disaster response. It also includes a commemorative symposium discussing issues in surviving the next generation.
