Nikken Sekkei has developed an app that uses wearables to display detailed digital architectural models in virtual space. Incorporate BIM data to reproduce white architectural models. It is also possible to add plants, people, etc. and allows multiple people to watch at the same time. This will lead to improved productivity in architectural design work.

The application "Whitemodel (tentative name)" was developed in cooperation with Hololab (Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo, CEO: Kaoru Nakamura). It uses the ``Apple Vision Pro'' spatial computer released by Apple in the United States in February. By superimposing high-resolution 3D images on the scene in front of you, you can use the content number as if it were physically present in the space you are in.

You can freely change the size from 1/100 to the actual size using the app. It can also show off details such as thin handrails that are difficult to reproduce with architectural models. It can be created in less time and at a lower cost than actual architectural models, and is expected to facilitate smoother communication with clients. Now we will apply it to real projects. We are also developing a function that automatically creates digital architectural models by importing from BIM models.

Although the device has not yet been released in Japan, we will learn in advance how to use it effectively. The company believes it can be used in a variety of ways, including showing where furniture and other items will be placed after construction is completed and using it to inspect an entire area.

Nikken Sekkei said: ``We want to provide a new physical space that integrates with the virtual space. We want to think about use cases with interested customers.''
