Nihon Sekkei / New office open to the public, a place to create a variety of exchanges while feeling the city

On February 28, Nihon Sekkei unveiled to the press its new office, which had moved to Toranomon Hills Mori Tower in Minato-ku, Tokyo. Developed as a place to practice new ways of working that create connections from both the real and virtual sides. In addition to general office space, we have prepared a space like a plaza where people from inside and outside the company can interact, a terrace area, and a place where new equipment and technologies can be tried and practiced. Planting was also done to create an “office where you can feel the city” (the company).
The new office is located on the 34th and 35th floors of Toranomon Hills Mori Tower. Go up and down using two stairs. The area is less than 7000 square meters. It was fully opened in January.
The themes were the ties between people, the connections between nature, history, cities, and the environment, creativity, infinite scalability, and mobility. Introduced the idea of a team-driven workplace. While it is a free address system, we also have a space that project members can use on a team basis as needed. You can gather in various units and change the layout. We also introduced a "shared flextime system" that allows you to choose your working hours while considering the collaboration of the project team.
The inside of the office has a "michi" passageway that goes around in a single stroke, and the interior is equipped with the standard specifications of an office. The outside is a space where you can work while feeling the open view. By combining the elements of the place, such as sunlight, with the elements that can be consciously changed, such as lighting and air conditioning, we have created a unique and diverse space. We have also introduced "environmental DX," in which AI proposes a changing environment. It is an office that creates inspiration, and the policy is to connect it to "a proposal that expands the possibilities and value of rental buildings" (the company).
