SVG, a special purpose company (SPC) wholly owned by Sun Village (Ashikaga City, Tochigi Prefecture), will build high-voltage solar power plants at 17 sites in Gunma Prefecture and Tochigi without depending on the system charging tariff (FIT). . On March 27, a green loan agreement was signed with Towa Bank to finance the construction of the power plant.
The total output of the 17 solar panels is 5369.92 kW and the grid power output is 3349.60 kW. Annual electricity production is expected to average 5949.59 MWh over 20 years, and the annual CO2 reduction efficiency will be 2638.99 tons. It will be operated sequentially from April 2023 to February 2024. The generated energy will be sold to Marubeni New Electric Power (Chiyoda Ward, Tokyo) through a power supply charge (FIP).

Parent company Sun Village is in charge of EPC (engineering, procurement, construction), O&M (operation and maintenance) and AM (asset management) services. Sun Village has signed a contract to supply solar panels with China Jinko Solar and other companies, and a power conditioning unit (PCS) supply contract with China's Huawei.
The green loan announced this time is a committed term loan with a loan amount of 620 million yen. Repayment is scheduled with the final repayment date of March 31, 2041. This is the first time that Towa Bank has financed a solar power plant that is not part of the FIT. It received the highest rating of "Green 1" in a comprehensive assessment of greenness, management, operations, transparency, and more. by the Japan Credit Rating Agency (JCR).
