Tochigi Bank and i-Grid Solutions (Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo) will jointly establish a renewable energy business company "Clean Energy Solutions Co., Ltd." on March 1 for regional decarbonization and energy circulation. announced an agreement.
The new company will be an advanced banking company based on the Banking Act, and will engage in renewable energy-related businesses and related consulting businesses. The head office is located in Utsunomiya City. The capital is 100 million yen, and the shareholders Tochigi Bank and i Grid Solutions. The investment ratio is not disclosed. The company is scheduled to be established in March, subject to obtaining approval from relevant authorities.
The two companies signed a partnership agreement in November 2022 with the aim of realizing carbon neutrality in the region. As a result of examining specific methods, they agreed to jointly establish a renewable energy business company. By utilizing i-Grid's know-how to create and circulate renewable energy within the region, we aim to realize regional decarbonization, resilience enhancement, and regional economic circulation.
