MIRARTH Holdings, its group company Leben Clean Energy (Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo), and Mitsui & Co. Plant Systems (Minato-ku, Tokyo) will consider a joint project for off-site PPA (Power Purchase Agreement) model solar power generation. On January 20, they signed a memorandum of understanding regarding the joint development of this business.

Leben Clean Energy, as the core company responsible for the renewable energy business of MIRARTH Holdings, has a track record of developing 200 high-voltage interconnected solar power plants nationwide. As the number of sites suitable for large-scale solar power generation is decreasing, speedy development of medium- and small-scale solar power plants is being promoted nationwide.

In addition, Mitsui & Co. Plant Systems is waiting for project management results such as the development, operation, and project financing of 44 photovoltaic power generation projects using the feed-in tariff (FIT) of over 300 MW. In addition, we have a track record of over 10 MW in total development of rooftop solar power using on-site PPA.

In this joint project study, we will build a development system centered on a "high-voltage bulk model" that will develop multiple relatively small-scale high-voltage solar power plants on idle land nationwide and collectively supply power. Leben Clean Energy will be in charge of land development and construction, and Mitsui & Co. Plant Systems will be in charge of searching for and negotiating with customers.

In the future, we plan to continue to provide renewable power to many consumers through Leben Clean Energy's project development capabilities, Mitsui & Co. Plant Systems' project management capabilities, and the Mitsui & Co. Group's network. Through this project, Mitsui & Co. Plant Systems will expand its power development capacity to a scale of 100MW per year.
