Kyocera-affiliated commercial printer with monochrome version at 1/3 the price
Kyocera Document Solutions (Osaka City) announced that it will release a monochrome version at a reduced price in February 2023 for commercial printers used for printing booklets. The price has been reduced to about one-third that of conventional products that support color printing. The aim is to meet the demand for high-mix, low-volume printing of learning reference books and anthologies, which is relatively strong even as the number of paper publications such as books is decreasing.
Capable of printing 150 sheets per minute
Released "TASKalfa Pro 15000c/B" capable of printing 150 sheets per minute on A4 paper. The suggested retail price excluding tax is 6.89 million yen. By making it exclusively for black-and-white printing, the number of parts is reduced compared to the color version, making it a price that is easy to introduce even for small and medium-sized printing companies. It is said that it is possible to suppress paper disturbance even when printing at high speed with original inkjet printing technology.
