Component 1A project, section Tan Van - Nhon Trach (phase 1) of Ring Road 3, Ho Chi Minh City, the first point intersects with provincial road 25B in the territory of Nhon Trach district, Dong Nai province; the end point intersects with the Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay Expressway in Thu Duc City, Ho Chi Minh City.
The project has a total investment of VND 6,955 billion, including a loan from the Korean Government through the Economic Development Cooperation Fund (EDCF) of USD 190.77 million (equivalent to VND 4,175 billion) and counterpart capital of the Government. Vietnam government is 2,779 billion VND.
The Tan Van - Nhon Trach route was started by the Ministry of Transport in 2011 with the role of a route connecting the Southeast provinces and relieving traffic pressure for the HCMC area.
