On the 16th, the Next Generation Social Research Center (RINGS) of Nihon University of Letters and Science held a presentation on the exploratory learning results of students from Sakuragaoka High School of Nihon University on the Nihon University campus in Setagaya Ward, Tokyo, as part of a collaborative project between high school and university. Students from Sakuragaoka High School were divided into three groups and with support from undergraduate and graduate students, they proposed improvements and solutions to various social problems. Carbon neutrality was also a topic for exploratory learning and the Japan Federation of Electric Power Companies provided information and advice in preparation for presenting the results.

We looked at how we can contribute to carbon neutrality through the everyday lives of high school students.
