Collaboration with Tokyo Metropolitan Government and Kiraboshi Bank Support for decarbonization of small and medium-sized enterprises
The Tokyo Metropolitan Government signed a partnership agreement with Tokyo Kiraboshi Financial Group and Kiraboshi Bank to revitalize "sustainable finance," which financially supports the decarbonization of small and medium-sized enterprises.
We will help small and medium-sized enterprises in Tokyo formulate the necessary corporate goals and plans when utilizing the "Sustainability Linked Loan" (SLL), which offers preferential interest rates according to the status of environmental efforts.
The metropolitan government signed a similar partnership agreement with Mizuho Bank in May. The Tokyo metropolitan government is subsidizing part of the expenses necessary for external evaluation work, etc., and will spread sustainable management to small and medium-sized enterprises based on cooperation with financial institutions with which it has agreements.
