Chodai and quantum technology venture blueqat (Blue Cat, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo, CEO Yuichiro Minato) signed a business alliance agreement on April 28. The purpose is to expand the business area by utilizing quantum technology, and to utilize high-speed calculation for social infrastructure development. In the future, we will work on establishing and operating a quantum data center and holding seminars for developing human resources related to quantum technology.

In this business alliance, we will work on ▽ maintenance and operation of quantum data centers ▽ quantum research and development ▽ training of quantum human resources ▽ introduction of quantum human resources. From 2022, Bluecat has started working to make existing data centers compatible with quantum computers, and will develop data center services dedicated to quantum computers in the future. In addition, in response to the shortage of quantum human resources, we will work on seminar planning and teaching material sales. It will also lead to securing quantum human resources within Chodai.
Chodai acquired a patent in 2020 for a technology to create a power distribution network that minimizes power distribution loss that occurs in energy supply. In September 2009, it joined the "Quarter Industry Creation Council (Q-STAR)" and is promoting research and development for urban development that utilizes quantum technology.
