Osaka Expo/German government announces overview of pavilion Themes consist of circular economy, circular facilities, etc.

On the 22nd, the German government announced the outline of the pavilion to be exhibited at the venue (Yumeshima, Konohana-ku, Osaka) of the 2025 Japan International Exposition (Osaka, Kansai Expo) in Osaka. The theme is "circular economy" and the title is "Wow! Germany". It represents the “ring” of the circular economy, the “harmony” of harmony, and the voice of surprise, “Wow!”. It consists of a garden, seven circular buildings, and event venues. Using recyclable wood and iron, we will develop a "low-carbon architecture prototype" by gathering the best of German and Japanese technology. In the hall, we will exhibit technologies and proposals that lead to problem solving.

The site will be redeveloped on a gentle slope and the facilities will be arranged. The facility consists of a biological zone and a technical zone.

All things, such as pavilion design, buildings, and exhibitions, can be circulated. Inside the museum, the character “Circular” invites visitors, guides them and interacts with them.

According to the German Pavilion Promotion Committee, the experience inside the museum "is expected to be an important signpost for us to realize a circular economy." During the exhibition period (April 13 to October 13, 2013), we are aiming for 3 million visitors.
