    Hitachi has positioned 2024 as the year it establishes work-based human resource management. The company will introduce "Job Descriptions (JDs)", which record the job content of responsibilities, for all approximately 120,000 positions in Japan. The plan is to gradually extend this to all companies within the group. By establishing an employment-based system, this will encourage the growth of both companies and individuals, and it will also be important in generating capital to improve wages through improve productivity.
