In April, overtime limits with penalties were imposed on the construction industry, and we will call for not only compliance with the regulations but also for enhanced work style reform. New emerging issues, such as the impact of the regulations on related industries at port and airport construction sites, as well as measures to address these issues, will also be explored.

The three main topics are: ▽The reality of overtime work and the challenges of complying with the upper limit regulations; ▽Improving the treatment of workers; ▽Promoting DX and GX in port construction. Regarding compliance with the upper limit regulations, we will discuss the current situation in which related industries such as material transportation and ready-mixed concrete suppliers are facing restrictions on operating hours and delivery dates, and discuss this as a new issue in work style reform.
To improve working conditions to ensure worker safety, we are calling for the expansion of new systems that encourage the employment of young engineers and the introduction of the Construction Career Advancement System (CCUS). CCUS is calling for cooperation in the creation of a new job category, ``Marine Civil Engineering (Proposed)'' for skilled workers involved in port construction.
